You and I likely share a similar set of priorities and challenges. It’s finding a way to juggle family, job, and volunteer work—all to make a better life for those around you. For me, it’s action that moves you, your family, and your community forward, not talk.
Mine is a value system that prizes goal setting, hard work, and results. Like most people I’ve never had things just handed to me, in fact I’ve faced a lot of hurdles most people haven’t: Losing my Dad at age 3, growing up living hand to mouth helping to raise my three siblings, and starting to work at age 14.
That’s where my grit and determination come from, and my desire to make things better for our community.

As your next Assemblymember, I will challenge the system, shake it up, and be a force for the change Californians are asking for. That’s who I’ve been and who I’ll be for you in the State Assembly.
